I believe it uses NFC and because of this you need at least an iPhone 7 because
that is the first model where Apple opened up the NFC chip.

Hi Richard. It is very easy to scan the sensor. Each person will most likely
find their comfort method when scanning. I find it very simple to either bend
my elbow and lift my arm somewhat. The top of the phone is placed near the
sensor. I can usually get a scan with the front of the phone place

I can tell you that the app is very accessible. The reader is not accessible.
However, if using the iPhone running IOS version I believe 7 or above, you

Yes this app is voiceover friendly. I use it everyday. Some of the buttons
could have some better labels but overall its a very accessible app.
