Hello Paul,
The accessibility of Kobo has deteriorated in the past couple of years, but I
still manage to read books with it.
Make sure the Transition style is None.
Once the book is open, you can read a whole chapter by doing a two-finger swipe
up. You have to give it time to digest the whole c
There is a book I can’t get on Kindle; Kobo has it.
I bought it, and I can open the book and select a section to read through the
contents page but cannot advance forward or backwards through the book; I
cannot move forward a page or backward.
All feedback is appreciated.
I did put in a request w
people,
nothing has been done so far.
Since you need to use their format, could you also send in a complaint by going
to the Kobo website:
The feature they need to restore to make their app accessible again is
scrolling as a page transition.

I have not had experience with this app in a very long time. Last I knew, it
was marginally, emphasis on that accessible. You had to jump through a lot of
hoops, and it wasn't worth it. Are you sure you can't find this book on another
more accessible form such as Kindle or iBooks or nook?

Hello,
In reading a book for school, the website that I was reading the book
on informed me that I could purchase an accessible version of it from
Kobo. I know that there is a Kobo app out there which I downloaded but
when I previewed the book I was unable to move forward or back a page

Hello Tom,
Kobo books are my favourite ebooks. I have no trouble at all reading them on my
iPhone and I also have them on my Mac. You just have to set up the app
correctly and Kobo is easy to use. It reads through a chapter at a time and you
have to double tap the link at the bottom right at
Hi,
This morning I rode to work with a lady who told me that Kobo books are very
popular around the world, one simple reason being that when you purchase a Kobo
book you actually own it instead of owning a license to read it, as you do
with, say, Nook or Kindle books. I downloaded the Kobo
makes going to the
next chapter easy. You just double tap and hold on the link at the botton
righthand side of the screen at the end of the chapter.
Cheers,
Anne

Hi List,
Having downloaded a free book from Kobo Books to find out how the system
works, I eventually found out how to open the book on my iPhone, and start
reading using my Brailliant Bi32. The next stage was to purchase a book
using Safari on my iPhone. Going back into Kobo I find that I
Hello everyone,
At some point since October 10 when I last bought a book, the Kobo site has
stopped recognising me and will not give me access to my library or allow me to
buy books. I called the help line but they were unable to be of assistance
since they weren't seeing what I see from here.
Thanks so much, Esther. Kobo Desktop does not appear to be accessible,
so this is very helpful!

Hi Keith,
On the Mac we've been using Adobe Digital Editions Preview to read
Kobo Books ePub files with DRM. This is the version they've been
developing for screen reader use, and there is an accessible Windows
version, too, that you can download from this URL:
http://labs.adobe.com
I know that Kobo Books is accessible with VO on the iPhone. I see that
one can read Kobo books from computers as well. Does anyone know if
Kobo Desktop for Windows PC is accessible?
