I was just reading the article posted by Sieghard, ios7 tips and
tricks. One of the tips in the article said there is a setting for
turning on and off lock sounds. I found the setting but no matter how
I set it my phone doesn't make a sound when I lock it. Can anyone
confirm how this setting is

Make sure your phone isn't set to silent. They removed the sound for unlocking
in iOS 7, but strangely enough kept the lock sound.

Hi,
There is a switch on the phone. Make sure that’s flipped to the front of the
phone, or if you’re holding it like you would to use it, near the screen. That
turns all sounds on.
