Many years ago I needed to be able to count seconds for radio production. A sighted friend, who did color photographic processing recommended a simple digital metronome. Set at 60 BPS it worked well for the several years I had that job. Sometimes the simple solutions are the best. Brad On

Here's a free metronome app I've found, that is somewhat voiceover friendly. You can adjust the speed of the Metronome with the faster and slower buttons. To turn Metronome on off there is an on off toggle button at the very bottom. Here's a link:
