Eric, First, go to the Mail preferences, under the Compose settings, and set new Notes to be created in iCloud. Then, go to the Account settings in the Mail preferences, and select your iCloud account. If you then switch to the Mailbox Behavior settings, you'll find a checkbox. This will make y

Eric, In the Mail preferences on your Mac, under Composing, there is a pop-up to select where your Notes should be saved. Also, when you have created your Note, press command-S to update and save it. This way, you will obtain the flexibility you want in both directions. HOpe this helps. Thank
