Hi,
If you're using touch typing, the letter or space is entered when you release
your finger.
Try typing a word, then when you touch the space and lift your finger, then
touch the space and lift your finger again. This should do the trick.
It sounds like you are doing a tripple space.

I've checked and the double-tap keyboard shortcut is on. I could not make it
work with keybord using touch-typing.
Any suggestions?

Entering two spaces in a row is actually the shortcut to enter a period then a
space.if this doesn't work for you, go into your keyboard settings and check
that period shortcut is enabled.

Is there still a way to use the triple click on the spacebar to use the period
