If using braille cards is not an option, I would try Talking Goggles or CamFind.
I've not tried either of these for that.
Even oMoby might be worth trying.

I am not sure if you have the app Digit-Eyes, but I saw recently that they
have playing cards with barcodes already on them. The Digit-Eyes app itself is
$19.99., but offhand I can't recall the price for the playing cards. The web
