A friend is having to purchase a new IPhone and has ordered the #6S. She is
wondering if there are any resources yet available which describe the new
gestures used with them? She is also wondering if the terms "Hard Touch and
Soft Touch" are the same as the terms "Peaks and Pops," or

As to terminology, a soft press is how you perform a peek, and a hard press is
how you perform a pop. This is similar to how a double tap is how you activate
an item; the press is just the name
Hard and soft touch are the same as peaks and pokes. I have been
assured by Apple Accessibility that this feature works with Voice
Over.
