else to read.  And, the alert spoke only about problems with playing video. So,

You will get the prompt to update whether you "need" this update or not. 
Note the message below deals with downloading the installer directly and not 
the update to iTunes itself. If you get the popup to update iTunes then go for 
it. I did it, and it wasn't an issue. I do have a 64-bit system, but I have no 
idea if Apple considers my graphics adapter to be old or low end.
