Hi Jen, To remove an app double tap and hold on the app until you hear edit. Then double tap and you will be asked if you want to remove the ap. Press ok and it will go. To turn off Raise to wake up the phone, you go to settings and then display and brightness. You can turn off this feature there. I personally love this feature. Instead of constantly pressing the power or the home key and damage them with too much use, I just rais the phone a bit. Cheers, Cris
