No, you don't need an Apple product. You can go to tv.apple.com in your browser and watch things from there. For example, when my wife and I want to watch Ted Lasso together, we'll bring it up in Edge on our PC and cast it to the Chromecast hooked up to our home theater system. -- Christopher
