Hi there, I have an iPhone 7 with the latest update and I don’t get that. I

I thought it only asks you a few times, but then goes away. I have a few
clients who prefer not having touch ID or even a Passcode in use. That is their
choice.

I don’t know if this is different for phones and iPads, and I do have a
passcode and touch ID both for my phone. For my iPad mini, I don’t. And I never
get snagged ever. And I have upgraded to 11.2.

Unfortunately, you need to at least set up a passcode for the alert to go away.
There’s no way to get around it.
