I didn't see this problem Sunday morning, but I did see it myself later
in the day. Others on this list have also reported the same problem
during the weekend, so others are definitely having the same problem. I
suspect that the server used to handle requests coming in from the
mobile app

I have gotten the request timed out message numerous times when
reading books this weekend. I have shut down my phone, rebooted, and
only had the BARD Mobile app running and the message still appears.
Hopefully the shutdown will end soon so some of these issues can be
addressed. All of my books

I haven't had any problems with the BARD App as of yet, but I think until
the government shutdown ends, there will be problems with the BARD App as no
one is giving the server constant attention.
