Hello Tony,
I had this problem initially and my Husband was able to fix this. At the very
top of the board the first group of three buttons, the first button needs to be
in the left most position. That will probably fix your Windows key issue.

Another thought I have had is using Jaws scripts to substitute actions for the
left hand keys. I assume they have different scan codes than the regular F1-F6
keys but don’t know how to find out what they use.
