I have an otterbox commuter which is thin and seems to provide reasonable
protection for the phone. I had them put my speed dots back on when I changed
cases, so I didn't even ask about a screen protector. My understanding is that
those are available separately if you want.

like the otterbox but is a lot thinner and it comes with a screen protector.

When I got my 6 from Verizon, I got the Defender case. The salesperson put on a
film screen protector on the phone before putting the case on it, and that
seems to work pretty well
and won't take it off but sometimes those
buttons don't want to respond.
