It’s been forever since I had to pare my Bluetooth IP, but from what I recall, yes. There’s a paring process that involves a button on the actual device. Don’t remember which one or where it is located though. Maybe someone else on this list can further help if it’s not easily researched

Its been a while since I did this but it seems to me that the button is the second one from the bottom on the right side. I think you press it and hold it until you hear a beep and then it is in pairing mode. I don't remember what from there but suspect that it was like pairing any other
