I have had my 5s now over 2 years now. It has the maximum amount of storage and the finger print scanner. I think maybe twice in all that time I had a problem with the scanner. I went and washed my hands with soap and water, and fully dried my hands. The finger print scanner read my finger

Hi Simon, I agree with everything Ron said. However if you are not in a hurry and can wait a few months around April or so there should be a new phone the same size as the 5 s with even better specks. You might just be able to get it for the same price or, maybe get the 5 s cheeper then.
