Hi Kathy,

Can you describe in more detail where exactly you have problems? I just went to
the "More" tab on the bottom right of the Audible app, then I tapped on
Settings and on Sign Out.
I was then signed out and just to be sure I would get a fresh start, I exited
the app and removed it from the app switcher.
I then opened the app again and was on a screen that said at the top "Welcome
to Audible".
Underneath it said "Great stories can take you anywhere, now you can take them
everywhere".
Underneath that (when I swiped right) there were two buttons:

I'm new to Audible, let's get started
I'm already using Audible, sign in

I of course selected the button to sign in and I was then given the following
two choices (the first one was already selected):

Sign in with email, used by almost everyone
Sign in with a user name, used by a few long time customers.

Underneath these options is a continue button, so I left it on the preselected
item (sign in with email) and tapped continue. This, by the way, will expect
you to sign in with your Amazon email and password.

On the next screen I now had an edit field for my email address and one for my
password. It actually tells you to "Sign in using your Amazon account".
I entered my email address and I was then easily able to swipe right to the
password field, double tap on it to put focus in it and then enter my password.
There also is a "Previous", "Forward" and "Done" button just above the left of
the keyboard (above where the Q, W, E, R, T and Y is). If you double tap on
Forward it goes from the email field into the password field.
I entered my password and then simply double tapped the "Go" button at the
bottom right of the keyboard.
You can also tap the '"Done" button after you enter your password and then
select the "Continue" button or just tap on Continue.
Lastly, after the Continue button is also a "Forgot my password" button which
allows you to reset your Amazon password.

I had no issues getting focus into the password field either by double tapping
on it or by using the "Forward" button from the email field. This is, by the
way, with the latest Audible update, but I don't remember ever having issues
with this when I set up Audible on a new phone.

Best regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Still can't log into Audible iPhone app

An update to the Audible app came out today. I installed it, but I still find
that the password field does not open, no matter what gesture I try. I have
called Audible technical support. The first person I spoke with thought I just
had forgotten my password, which is not the case. I seriously do not want to
change my password, because Amazon provides no accessible captcha alternative.
I told her that I need to speak with an accessibility specialist. I'm betting
they don't have one. I have now sent an email. It's a good thing I have other
devices I can use for playing Audible books. I'd just prefer the app to work.
I did call Apple Accessibility about the problem last week - I'd had the same
situation with the Jango Radio App. Apple Accessibility is certain the problem
is not with IOS. Since there are plenty of other apps whose password fields act
properly, I tend to think Apple is right.
