My memory is very short, so could you please remind me of where i want to go to
uncheck this box? I don’t see the settings for the beta program anywhere, but I
guess it must be in there somewhere.

Yes the message refers to the controler rather than the firmware, at first,
Sonos says that a new controller app is available and gives me a cancel and an
update button. When i press the update button Sonos briefly says searching for
update and then comes back with

I would think it was like that, only that doesn’t appear to be the case.
There’s no ”learn more” button either when the dialog pops up nor when the
search is finished. There may be a newer app somewhere, i’ll have to search for
it on my phone, i haven’t done that.

Two things, sometimes Sonos Beta Apps appear as a separate second App, check
your home screen pages for a second one, as it maybe simply that you are
launching the old version… Keep in mind that the message to update may relate
to either your controller App or the FW on the units
I have had this before, but it usually would just do this once. If it does it
every time I would just delete the app and reinstall it.
