Does anyone have any updated information on this topic? I don't know enough
about it to know whether or not this should be an issue for me. I don't want to
be locked into staying with a particular carrier if I choose to leave. Right
now I am currently with AT and according to this I would be

I always buy my phone outright and unlocked, so this will make no difference to
me. But I wonder about those who try to switch simm cards for traveling? This
could be a deal breaker for them.

substantive differences between these modems. I had no clue, before seeing this
article, that only the QUALCOMM modems supported all of the different network
