now the passcode is working fine!

I don’t know if your issue has been resolved because it’s been a couple of days
since you posted but I’d recommend you do the following:
1. Go to Settings, Sounds and haptics, Sound volume and set it to 100
percent.
2. Single finger swipe once with focus on Sound
Is it possible that screen recognition is on and messing with the PIN entry
screen?
