I know that when connected to my home network, The lowest I get is a 90 and
it's usually up around 95%. I assume other home routers get around the same,
it's hard to believe that would be the problem.

U have your mail set to fetch automatically on a frequent basis?
I'm not sure why that would cause extra drain when on WiFi rather than 3G or
LTE, but that is a process that keeps running in the background that might
explain some of it.
