Buddy, You may find it useful to enable the Sidebar in iTunes 11, this makes it look a lot more like iTunes 10. You can do this with the Control+S shortcut, if the Sidebar is hidden Control+S will show it, if it is not hidden Control+S will hide it. You can also do this via the View menu.
