OK, in messages there are 2 places/screens:
1. In the main screen which shows all your conversations you can
delete entire conversations
2. If you double tap on a conversation where you see the screen with
all the individual messages, you can delete individual messa
Focus to a message then do a one finger flick up or down to the more...
option. Double tap on that and you will be able to delete from there.
This is also how you forward now too.
