I'm not sure what message or thread you're replying to, but two things.
First, there are ways a trial could be offered, and I think they've
already been described on this list. They could offer a lite version,
although I don't know how they'd cripple it to show off the features and
yet still
Having a 30-day free subscription would be stupid in my opinion, since they
would be doing a bunch of work for no return. The overhead for providing all
these nonrenewable subscriptions is on the developer, not on apple, and Sendero
is a small company. I think they will consider a paid shorter
As of now, it is still not available in the app store.

Hi Julian,
I would like to know if you only have one device at the time of purchasing
and at a later date you purchase another device if you will be able to
register that device without making a new purchase of the app? Thanks.

Got it now. Do wish there was a 7 day free trial, or something like that.

I don't think a 30 day trial would be stupid.
First, there are people who just flat won't lay out the money if they
can't take the app for a spin first. They'll be losing out on these
sales without some kind of demo or free trial.
Second, if someone takes advantage of the free trial and they
Well, opinions aside, Apple doesn't allow for free trials of the full app; so
it won't happen unless that policy changes.

The Seeing Eye app has returned to the App Store this morning. You should find
it under Sendero group or under seeing eye. It was gone briefly, but now it has
returned.

when will it be here in the UK?
and also does it have
1. browse a route before you see it mode
2. can you as in trekker gps, have it on the vehicle i.e. a car or public
transport and have it announce things as you pass them or do i need routes
activated?

I do not know when it will be available in the UK.
I took the app for a walk, without entering any route. It announced streets,
and points of interest, as I approach them. There is a turn by turn list, when
you enter a route, so you can virtually browse the route.

Yes, the subscription is for all devices on the account, to include when you
upgrade your phone. But you have to save the subscription, so it can be
retrieved when you want to install on a new or second device.

Keep in mind that the developer would not have to put up a free demo.
Just as they have a single year subscription, they could have a single
month subscription or, if they wished to push it, a single day or
hour. Personally, I would pay $3 or so to try it for a week, but
