How about just plugging in your earbuds when you want to enter a passcode
that you want to be private. Its kind of the same issue as when placing a
phone call where everyone can hear the number you are dialing if you don't
have earbuds on.

I would say either use headphones when entering the code or just make
it a habit to press the volume down a few times and hold it close to
your ear to enter the code. You might also want to consider how it
fits your situation that even if someone did hear the code, they would
have to be also the
I'm sure someone will suggest that you use a headset. This was happening in

Hi,
If you are going to use a pass code with VoiceOver, there is no other option
than to have the numbers spoken or you would have no idea what you were

How about putting on your earphones when you enter the password. If apple
decides, probably they could route all the passwords through the internal
speakers. If not apple, May be the app developers could take it up.

Use headset, cover the speaker with your thumb so you can barely hear it, turn
the volume Down, or don't worry about it. Most sighted people will not
understand or remember it anyway.
