I know sometimes this might not be practical, but if you have problems
holding the iPhone still you might really benefit from something like the
Standscan. This will keep your iPhone still and you could even use a
Bluetooth keyboard to activate the camera button.

Chris, this is the nature of all cameras. There are some very expensive camera
rigs for movie production that use special cushioning systems around the lens
so the viewer does not see any shaking which naturally occurs. Sighted people
can always tell home movies because they are never stable
