Unless you can figure a tripod for the phone, or find some holder or stand-scan, you probably will need to avoid camera apps, and trust me, I feel your pain, I am not good with it either and I don't have involuntary muscle movements to hinder me but I do have only light perception and a hearing

Hi Chris, I know sometimes this might not be practical, but if you have problems holding the iPhone still you might really benefit from something like the Standscan. This will keep your iPhone still and you could even use a Bluetooth keyboard to activate the camera button. Regards, Sieghard

Chris, this is the nature of all cameras. There are some very expensive camera rigs for movie production that use special cushioning systems around the lens so the viewer does not see any shaking which naturally occurs. Sighted people can always tell home movies because they are never stable
