I have turned on reduced motion, and it doesn't make a huge difference. I'm
going to call my AT&T store and see if they have a 5S, so I can test it out and
see if it does the same thing. Thanks,

Have you tried what some already suggested which is to go to Settings,
General, Accessibility and turn on "Reduce Motion"?
