get it to make a noise, but if there had been much other noise in the
environment where I had lost it, I probably would not have heard that noise.

Have you tried to see if you can see them listed on the find my app which comes
preinstalled on your iPhone, instead of trying to locate them in settings. If
you deleted the find my app by mistake, you can redownload it from the appstore.

Perhaps they are supposed to be added, but they do not appear in find my on
