Is there a chance you need to switch the app to full screen? You can do
this via a special button usually located at the very bottom of the screen.

I'm afraid I can't offer you any direct help, but I can tell you that
the developer of Elements, Second Gear, has at least temporarily
withdrawn the app from the U.S. App Store because of serious bugs. I
was told this in an email from Second Gear a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks, Craig. I used to follow them on Twitter, but they did so much silly
self-promotion that I had to unfollow. I did have an issue with an update, but
I deleted the app and went back to a previous version and it has been fine
since.
