There is an app for Echolink, a way that hams can communicate with other hams
via their phone. You must be licensed, and I think you may have to set echolink
up on the PC first. You can go to either www.echolink.com or www.echolink.org
for more info. Setting up Echolink is on my to do list, as
good enough Echolink would be a good start and then we can figure out exactly
what’' he’s after.

can you be a bit more specific? Does he want to control his radio or use a
remote base such as the handihams remote base? Echolink will get him on VHF/UHF
but other than that I am not sure what else is out there that will interface
VOIP with radio.
