You can use iTunes file sharing but you have to start with the zip file.
I think you will find it is less work to simply download the books again
directly into VDR.

so if you restore from one of these, you have to download the books again.

all you can do is download them again or use iTunes file sharing to copy them
over if they're on your computer.
