Thanks for reposting this Keith. I must of missed the first post. Thanks for
all the suggestions of wired headsets.

Virus concerns aside, used headphones are often very steeply discounted.
Also, various retailers often sell out remainders at very low prices (like

I think the bigger problem may be good quality for $50
That is something we in nz could not get.
Even apple headphones such as you get with your phone
Are over $50 and they to me are a reasonable headphone.

Hi Joshua,
I actually bought a pair that sound similar in description:
Dual Driver 40 Hrs Bluetooth Headphones Over Ear, Picun EQ Bass Wireless
Headphones w/ Mic, Hifi Stereo 4 Dynamic Driver Hybrid Headset, Soft Protein
These don't fold though. I feel likeRadar on MASH when wearing them.
They
headphone choices are highly personal what sounds best, which mikes
work best, etc. It had not occurred to me to recommend a dual BT/wired, but
since Joshua brought it up...
I have had these headphones for maybe three months now, after buying them one
daywhen they were the deal of the day for $27. Although I occasionally wish
they had slightly less bass, or a bit more treble, I am quite satisfied with
them, and would replace them at the regular price if something
If the wire is connected, does this block use of the internal mike or can you
use that?

If you need to use it for calls, then no. The microphone won't work
if the headset is wired. It is a fantastic sounding headset though.
I might actually purchase myself an extra headset just because it
sounds so good.

Hi Joshua,
I heard the tutorial & know of the company that you are referring to. I'm not
sure that phone calls are possible when the wire is on. Are you able to use
headset for calls when the wire is on?

When my BackBeat headphones die, I will be getting these.
Thanks to having a sighted wife who likes to also dig into details, I found the
totally inaccessible manual, but she was able to read it on her iPad and expand
the important information. At least, the most important to me.
The frequency
The headset covers the entire ears. I even have an audio tutorial
that talks about all the features of the headset. The tutorial was
done by another company that unfortunately I was very over charged for
the headset.

I keep looking for something like this. Could you give a little more
description of the headset? Is it over the head and do the ear pieces cover
the ear entirely or just sit on the outside? Thanks,
Marie

Hi Andrew. I think I've found what you're looking for. There is a
company called Tribit and they make a set of wireless bluetooth
headphones that can also be used wired. This company not only
includes a case with their headphones, but a cable as well that can
turn them from wireless bluetooth
I wasn’t the only one who got taken on that deal.
Going to return them ASAP

Another thought is to check out known brands like Sony, Koss, JVL, etc.
You will want a frequency range from probably from 50 or 100 hertz, to 16000,
to 2 hertz so you are covering a good range from decent base to high treble.
If you have any stores in your area, you might try calling to ask
Are you looking for an actual headset that goes over or on top of the ears?
Or, would a Aftershokz JawBone conduction wired headset be an option?
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Go dodgers!
I didn't stop shaking hands because of, COVID-19, I stopped because noone
can buy toilet
I could imagine a $14 headset sounding pretty awful.
I hope you returned them.
I know there are some that can sound pretty good.
Let me do a little more digging.

I have the adapter actually. Thank you for at least answering my inquiry
Richard.
I bought a wired headset on amazon for $14.. That was a terrible waste of
fourteen bucks.

Your subject line said, wired.
The challenge will be to find a wired headset that has the lightning plug.
Or, do you have the lightning to 3.5 MM adapter?
Good luck in finding a good quality headset for $50.
I’m sure there are some out there.

Hello all,
I've been searching for what's in subject line. I had a nice Harman Kardan
headset but cannot find it anywhere. Its all blue tooth. I don't want to pay
more than $50 if possible
Thanks
