1. Open Settings and tap on General → Accessibility
2. Swipe down and tap on Siri
3. Tap the toggle for Type to Siri

I suggest you to go in settings/General/accessibility/Siri and disactivate
write to Siri

I turned on type to Siri on my 8 Plus to help me with the commands, as Siri
has trouble understanding me even using Hey Siri. I can't seem to get the
keyboard and search box to come up. How do I use this?
