I don't see a way of getting long range forecasts. Try AccuWeather or
WeatherBug. They both have long range forecasts.

I didn't have to log into the server. I just downloaded underground weather a
few days ago on both phones and it's fine. You may be having trouble connecting
for some reason but I don't think it is because you have to log in.
