Facebook now has their own built in browser. So when you clock on links, it
just opens up in facebook. It doesn’t use safari or any other browser.

Did you check your app switcher to see if Safari was opened. I’ve found, for
example, that when following a link in a text or email to approve replacement
items when shopping through Instacart, Safari gets opened as well as Instacart,
and I see it in my app switcher when I go to close things
Hi folks,
Lately, when I click on links in Facebook posts, the web browser can get really
squirrely. That is to say, VO focus seems to jump around and I lose my place on
the page and it’s a pain to try to get back to where I was reading. Often these
pages have loads of ads, which doesn’t help
