I have never used Apple Pay, only read about it. I am intrigued by the notion
of paying for something from your lock screen. On the other hand, it seems
awfully insecure. Say someone steals your phone and walks into a store. As I

It's been awhile since I set up the credit card I use with Apple Pay in my
iPhone but I had to first add it to my Passbook. When I've used Apple Pay at

I am pretty sure it does, but in any case, you can’t independently verify
what is on the terminal if you do a regular credit card or debit card
transaction.

One other thing I forgot to mention. One place I use Apple Pay, Rubio's
Mexican Grill, asks if the amount is correct on the terminal and I must hit
a Yes button to finish the transaction. Unfortunately, this is all
visual, so I have to ask for help.
Also, sometimes Walgreens ask a question on
My experience has been that Apple Pay will not announce the amount of
purchase before I pay, therefore, it has the same disadvantage as any other
payment process.
Also, while the iPhone will store payment information, for a short period
of time, in the passbook app, the Apple Watch does not.
Hi Neil. Each time you make a purchase, it shows up in the passbook app. So

You get a notification when you've used Apple Pay, and your purchases appear on
your credit card statement.

Anna

Hi all. For those of you who use Apple pay, do you get any kind of statement
that shows you the things you have purchased either each time you make a
purchase, or in a monthly statement?
Thanks for the information.

I would like to ask a related question. When one uses Apple pay, does
voice over verbalize the amount being charged? I ask because I don't
want to authorize a purchase unless I can independently verify the
amount I am being charged.
