Thank you for the directions. Will this work with voice dream and audible?
Cathy and Tiny.
On Dec 1
VoiceDream and Audible have built-in sleep timers.
Perhaps reading the help files would be a good plan.
But to get you started, Double-tap and hold on the play button in VoiceDream
and the sleep timer pops up.
In Audible, double-tap on the more button and you will find the sleep timer:.

Hello Cathy,
The iOS built-in Timer App works with many third-party apps without any need
to configure anything inside
Hi all. Until I updated to IOS 8.1.1 I was able to set a timer in the
native clock app to when timer stops, stop playing and turn on a BARD book.
When the timer ran down the book would stop playing. This no longer seems
to be true. I think I have everything set up correctly, but the book
I just set the timer to stop playing, started the timer, started a BARD book,
and when the timer ran down, the book stopped playing.
My phone was locked while playing the book if that matters.
This was on my 5S running 8.1.1.

All you need is the iOS built-in clock, which has a timer feature.
The easiest way to get to it is to open the control center, then double tap on
the clock app which is in the bottom row, the timer is often the default
selection, but if it isn't it is in the lower right.
Double tap on it so it
BARD still does not have a timer built-in.
I just use the clock timer.
