I'm not sure what is meant here, but I don't find IOS 8 to be
ridiculously slow on the iPhone 4S, and I haven't since something like
IOS 8.1.2. I think performance has been comparable to IOS 7 and earlier,
and it's only gotten incrementally better with each release since IOS 8.2.
