I am having a similar problem with Store News also starting this
morning on my iPhone 4 not-jail broken. I get an error message that
the ap store URL cannot be opened. I'm guessing it's a problem

When I try to open a link to an app from a storeNews app, iTunes opens
instead of appstore. It began since this morning. No problems till today.
iPhone 4s, IOS 5.1.1, jailbroken. Reboot or respring doesn't help. Restore
to factory settings is not acceptable. Any ideas?
