still see alerts and view them yet still be able to go from page to page as the
percent thing comes up briefly and then disappears. Then on to the next page.

I figured those were blank lines in the text. It often happens between chapters

You could write Winston and see if there would be an option to suppress blank
lines.

around in settings for VDR, but don't see anything obvious. Basically,
when reading a BKS book, there are points in the text where the
braille display shows nothing. I have to pan forward several times
before anything will appear.

There's no way to make the percentage go away completely, but you can make it
appear so briefly you barely notice it. To do this, open Braille settings, and
set Alert Display Duration to .5 seconds.

Hi akl. When using a braille display in voice dream reader, is there a way to
not see the percentage I've read of a book at the bottom of every page I read?
Otherwise I can scroll just fine. It might show something like 4.6 percent or
something like that as an example.
