Damn playing with voiceover and synthesizer sounds is boring since it doesn't
work. Blah. Oh well.
On
Go to Settings. Double-tap on Sounds. Double-tap on Text Tone. That's for
setting the default one.

Are they on your computer in iTunes, iTunes media, tones?
