Hello Esther,
I have an iPad 4 running 7.0.4. Why do you think my buttons are not working
with VO. Like I said only the number buttons announce.

Right. You do one of the angle gestures, you find the suspend talkback thing,
you do that then hopefully you're back in Fleksy. You use Fleksy. And I suppose
you turn the screen often on to get talkback back. And you go on about your
business. If people want to do that, that's great. All I'm
Hi,
Is there a Kindle application that I can download onto my Ipod, in order to
read Kindle books? And, if so, how do I pay for those books, through the
application itself?
Thanks.

Hi,
Yes, the Kindle app is accessible. You can't buy books from within the app, but
you can download samples and then have a link emailed to you that takes you to
the page where you can buy the book. Or you can search for and buy the book
using Safari to go to amazon.com.

Yes! There is a Kindle app. However, you cannot pay for the books through the
app. You must purchase the books from Amazon either on the PC or I believe that
you can do it by using the Safari app on your device.

Hello Ed,
I'm really puzzled about why you are not hearing the buttons. I wish
someone else who has an iPad would try this out and report back. I tried
deleting the app from the iPad 4 running 7.0.4 and re-downloading it, and
the buttons are still announced by VoiceOver. The only thing that

Yes, there's a Kindle app you can download. If you read through Justin
Romack's post about this at Fedora Outlier, you'll find out pretty much all
the features of the Kindle app:

through your bookmarks and buy your books or books. They do magazines too but
I've never bought any magazines or newspapers.

Hi, Claudia,
You can get the Kindle app in the app store. You will need to use the

Hello Deb and all:
Thank you so much for the information.
I was wondering if you or any one else had experiences with the apps of any of
the other car services. If so, how would you rate the accessibility?
Take good care and I wish you enough.
