Re: Audio in NFL Mobile
I wonder about using Radium with serious XM for football. Also what about June in? I used to use that all football radio, but so many stations didn't work or only works sporadically. Mary Sent from my iPhone On Aug 9, 2015, at 9:23 PM, Andy Baracco w...@socal.rr.com wrote: There is an app All Football Radio Pro that I have used to listen to the 49ers games. I believe I paid $3.99 for it, and you get what you pay for. The audio is sometimes sucky, and sometimes the feed goes away, but it is usable. If the NFL really gave up on making money by streaming, perhaps they won't stop the teams from doing so on their own. Also, you might see CBS NBC and Fox offering that service. On the PC, there is a site called www.freefootballradio.com that streams many games. RE: A recording app that will work while on a phone call
Hi John, As far as I know such an app does not exist and while it may not be impossible to do, I am not sure if Apple gives developers this much control over the hardware. Basically the app would have to take over the microphone which of course is used by the Phone app while you are on a call so any recording app would somehow have to use it at the same time. Hi, GamePass is available through the NFL mobile app, or it’s supposed to be coming soon. I am surprised as I read this thread that thus far no one has mentioned that Sirius carries both home and away feeds of all NFL games. I use Radium; and, for example, I dictate Raders which brings me to the home feed of the currently playing Raders game. I got what I consider a good deal on Sirius, something like $54.00 U.S. for both the over the air and the internet channels for six months. A possible alternative to NFL mobile is also http://www.wyziwig.tv it streams all NFL games in video with audio. It's overseas but I used it last year and it works great. RE: [Bulk] unable to populate a new playlist in the newest iTunes
As I wrote the list a few weeks ago, the only thing I could do with playlists created with iTunes 12.2.1 was use the context menu to add songs in the exact order I wanted. Apple Accessibility verified that the functionality to select, copy, cut and re-arrange items in a playlist was removed in this latest update. The tech could only do these things with a mouse- no keyboard accessibility. Please report to Apple- I seem to be the only one complaining. BTW, my old playlists still function normally- with full edit capability. Re: Audio in NFL Mobile
It is true that I don't get nearly the detail from the tv audio that I would from the radio broadcast, but most of the time, if that is all I have, I can follow football and baseball, well enough to make it worth my time, . I called the NFL technical support line on Friday night, when I couldn't get jaws or NVDA to click the submit buttons to log me into my old audio pass subscription section or the forgot password section, and was told they were working on it every day. It is not fixed yet. I asked about audio pass, and was told the game pass subscription is a hundred dollars. I won't pay that, when I mainly would be paying for video that I don't want. I asked about NFL Mobile, and apparently, it is a work in progress, too. I think it will be part of this game pass. Brent, I make no claims as a negotiator. I had canceled my subscription for almost three years. They meaning Sirius-XM sent me a we want you back letter offering me six months worth of service for $50 including both open air and internet. RE: Wifi on Southwest?
I have flown South West several times in the past year. I have not purchased their entire WIFI package, but have used the free offerings, which include flight tracking, music and TV. I tried once to check out music, but couldn't work it quickly, so gave up. I cannot recall exact details, but there is some challenge to TV. The first trip, I had someone visualize the screen and choose a program for me. I did figure out how to do it, but again I apologize I can't recall just how. I hope, if you try it, you have better luck. Maybe you can pass along how you got it to work. I'm afraid for me it is monkey do, monkey done. Hi Sarah, It should be just like accessing any WiFi hotspot or hotel WiFi. I was only on one flight from Vancouver to Las Vegas a year or so ago where WiFi was offered and of course I wanted to try it out. I believe I just connected to the WiFi which showed up in Settings, WiFi on my iPhone, then a webpage opened in Safari and I had to provide my name, email address and credit card number. My credit card was charged for whatever the amount was (can't remember) and I received a receipt by email. The WiFi was OK for email and going on the web, but most in-flight WiFi services block Voip calling like Skype, Facetime and so on. I guess they don't want every second person sitting there jabbering away on the phone. I don't think I'd spend the money for in-flight WiFi again unless it was a long flight of 4 or 5 hours or more and I really needed to be online to maybe do some work. Of course there are now also airlines which provide their entire in-flight entertainment via mobile devices only. I know here in Canada Westjet is in the process of switching to this system because it has 3 benefits: first, they don't have to spend money on seatback touchscreens where people can watch movies or access the entertainment system. Secondly, planes which don't require this can save a lot of weight because apparently having all seats wired for a large jet requires thousands of feet of cable and it does actually add up to a weight savings. Lastly, the airline can charge people for the service and, if people don't have a tablet, they can rent out tablets. I was on an Air Canada flight a while back where you could rent an iPad for $9 or $10 for the duration of the flight. Hello, I will be flying on Southwest soon, and I understand that they will have wifi access on the plane. Is anyone familiar with this service? It sounds like it might be a platform or involve a plug in. Does anyone know what is involved in setting this up or using it? Does it work with Voiceover? Re: Audio in NFL Mobile
If you read the details on that page, in particular the section after platforms with the asterisk, it specifically says it does not include regular season live broadcasts, or the super bowl. It also does not mention iOS devices though it says it is coming soon to Apple TV.
