2020-10-17 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
This could very well be another Apple feature which even though it may have
been tried before was now refined by Apple and will become a big deal.
Touch Id and face Id are other examples, so is Apple Pay and, for that matter,
the modern smartphone and the App Store in general, all are things Apple either
designed/invented or re-designed/re-invented and made popular.

This I like the sound of

Magsafe is great on the older mac book versions,

So to put it in to the iPhone is great

Can't wait to see how it goes

iPhone 12's MagSafe is the sleeper feature that's a bigger deal than you think,
cNet News
Commentary: The fast-charging feature that snaps into place opens up the
possibility for an array of wild new attachments.

The MagSafe is one of the quietly coolest features on the new iPhone 12.

Apple's unveiling of the iPhone 12 family fittingly shined a spotlight on 5G
-- not a surprise given the amount of hype and investment dollars that have
been poured into the next-generation wireless technology. While 5G continues to
mature into the technological foundation for countless innovations, however,
it's the low-profile MagSafe feature that may offer consumers the most
immediate impact.

It's almost sacrilege for me to write that 5G still needs to time to develop.
After all, I've been covering the potentially game-changing nature of 5G since
2015, when I first wrote about Verizon's intention to field-test the super-fast
cellular technology. But the truth is that initial deployments don't represent
huge boosts in speed.

MagSafe, on the other hand, offers some tangible benefits regardless of where
you live or whether you're near the right cell tower. MagSafe charges faster
than previous iPhones, bringing it on par with the quick charge that Android
phones have long enjoyed. And, as dumb as this sounds, there's something cool
about watching your phone snap into place, visual confirmation that you didn't
fumble the placement of your device.

"There's no more guessing where the sweet spot is," said Ramon Llamas, an
analyst with IDC.
MagSafe has its own long-term potential. The magnetic pins on the back of the
phone harken back to other attempts to push an ecosystem of attachments, from
Motorola's Moto Mods to the Essential Phone PH-1's modular camera.
Neither of those companies moved enough phones -- the Essential, in particular,
was an outright flop -- to really interest many accessory makers to take risks
on bold ideas. Most of the time, we got extra battery packs.

Apple's scale changes everything.
Paving the way
Apple's enormous reach -- Strategy Analytics estimates it will sell 180 million
units next year -- means a potentially huge market for anyone looking to build
MagSafe accessories. The opportunity is particularly rich for anyone looking at
attachments beyond the basic wireless charging stand.
Think game controllers, camera grips, selfie sticks and, yes, wireless charging
battery packs that could change the way we hold or interact with an iPhone.

"We can't wait to see the innovative way that others will use MagSafe, creating
a robust and ever expanding ecosystem," Deniz Teoman, vice president of
hardware systems engineering at Apple, said in the Apple presentation on
Tuesday.

That isn't hyperbole. Apple has a way of popularizing and legitimizing tech
trends, from mobile payments to wireless charging. Where Motorola and Essential
fell short, Apple could popularize the notion of magnetic attachments.

Apple itself filed a patent for a folio case with additional power supply and
the ability to charge AirPods, according to Patently Apple. While those patents
don't always yield products in the real world, they're an indication of where
the company may go in the future.

Phone accessory maker Belkin , meanwhile, has already unveiled two MagSafe
accessories, a charging stand that can handle an iPhone 12, Apple Watch and
Apple Airpods, along with a more conventional car mount. Steve Malony, senior
vice president of Belkin, said the initial products were more "bread and
butter" when compared to future accessories on the roadmap.

"Some of the ideas that we see come across our desk are pretty wild," he
teased. "It's going to be fun to take those ideas and put them in play."

Modular dreams
MagSafe feels like a spiritual successor to Google's Project Ara, a modular
phone that used magnets to attach smaller components to the handset, allowing
you to build it u

Hi Anthony,

For folks to help, you didn’t quite give enough information. Is this happening
when you text someone using an iPhone, or is it happening when you are texting
to another type of phone, or both?

I think you may want to look at settings and messages. In there you can see
what your settings for messages look like. For instance, if you can’t send to
people who are not using an iPhone, then you want to make sure that “SMS”
messaging is turn on.

I hope that helps some.

Take care and be safe!

RE: Data types and cabling two iphones together?

2020-10-17 Thread Richard Turner
I found Alan's excellent explanation. See if this meets your needs.
Read through it completely before deciding.
>From Alan:
Hi List,

I decided to make detailed notes of the steps involved in setting up a new
iPhone mainly for my own benefit since I forget what is involved as I only do
this every couple of years. In my case, I bought this SE 2020 directly from the
Apple Store app with no SIM card included since I have a prepaid Verizon plan
and could not specify my carrier successfully when ordering. The below numbered
list will be very detailed since I'd rather have too much information than not
enough. Any settings provided came from my iPhone 8 running iOS 13.4.1.

1. Opened iTunes on my Windows 7 computer, verified I was running its
latest version of 12.10.6, connected my iPhone 8 using the lightning cable, and
did an encrypted backup.
2. Did an iCloud backup by going to Settings - Alan Lemly - Apple ID -
iCloud - iTunes and App Store, iCloud, iCloud backup, and executing Backup now.
3. I read a lot of books using the BARD Mobile app and since any books
downloaded to an iPhone are not transferred to a new restored iPhone, I made a
list in an Excel file of the downloaded books I wanted to re-download to my new
iPhone and the location of any current reading position in those books.
4. I plugged my lightning cable connected to my computer to the new phone
and the Apple logo appeared on the screen. The white screen appeared a few
seconds later with the cycling languages appearing and I pressed the home
button 3 times quickly to turn on Voiceover. Although I was hearing clicks as I
swiped, Voiceover did not start talking until a number of seconds later. In
fact, I pressed the home button 3 times again because I wasn't sure I had
turned Voiceover on. This turned Voiceover off and I had to press the home
button 3 times again to turn it back on and I heard Voiceover say hello and
when I swiped once, Voiceover said press home to open.
5. I pressed home and Voiceover said Setup and put me in a list of
language buttons with English at the top. I double tapped on English.
6. The screen which opened said Select your country or region heading. I
double tapped on the United States button which was the first in the list.
7. The screen which opened said Quick start heading Bring your current
iPhone or iPad near this iPhone to sign in and set up. The older iPhone must be
using iOS 11 or later with Bluetooth turned on. There was a button at the end
to Set up manually.
8. A screen opened on my old iPhone to set up a new iPhone using my apple
ID with a button to continue. A screen appeared to position some pattern in a
circle but I double tapped the Authenticate manually button instead.
9. I was prompted to input the 6 digit authentication code displayed on my
new iPhone using the number pad screen on my old iPhone. My new iPhone then
prompted me to enter my passcode of my old iPhone. I had to double tap each
number on the on screen number pad on my new iPhone since touch typing was not
turned on.
10. I was prompted to set up touch ID on the new iPhone which I did.
11. Several screens were presented asking me to place my finger and lift my
finger which I did. I was then taken to a screen which said Adjust your grip
and it said keep going to capture the edges of your grip. I double tapped a
Continue button at the bottom of this screen.
12. I was then prompted to again place and lift my finger until I got the
Complete message. Touch ID is ready was spoken and I then executed the Continue
button at the bottom of that screen.
13. The next screen said Transfer your data heading. The explanation said
you can directly transfer your data during setup or finish downloading it
later. Buttons on this screen were Transfer from iPhone, Download from iCloud,
or other options. The Transfer from iPhone said the time to transfer was about
1 hour. The download from iCloud said I could start using my iPhone in about 15
minutes and my data would download later over wifi. I executed the Transfer
from iPhone button.
14. I was taken to a Terms and conditions screen on the new iPhone where I
double tapped an Agree button in the bottom right corner.
15. I was taken to a Settings from other iPhone heading screen where it
listed some settings about allowing Siri to use voice input, contacts, etc. and
allowing maps to use my location. I executed the Continue button at the bottom
of this screen without customizing any settings.
16. I was taken to a Keep your iPhone up to date heading screen which was
basically a commercial for updating iOS automatically. At the bottom of this
screen was a Continue button followed by an Install updates manually button. I
chose the Install updates manually button.
17. I was then taken to a screen to Add cards to Apple Pay. Instead of
executing the Continue button, I chose to Set up later in Wal

Subject: Data types and cabling two iphones together?

Hello, I have the usb3 camera adapter which my workplace bought for my use with
a usb microphone. I understand that two iphones can be cabled together for data
transfer. My question is will it only deal with icloud data, or will it
actually transfer downloaded music, Audible books, and that type of content to
the new phone? Can this be done at any time, or must it be done when first
setting up the new phone?
Thanks,Matthew

Re: Check-Box On Rotor?

2020-10-17 Thread Dave Clement
Hello,

You could try the "buttons" item as most check boxes are "radio buttons". You
could also try "form fields" as they fall under this category also I think.

You might get a few elements that are not check boxes but just flick down past
them when you are on the rotor item. For example, the "buttons" rotor item will
show you all the buttons not just the radio buttons. The form fields item will
show you other form field elements as well as check boxes.

I am not aware of a rotor item that exclusively shows you check boxes. Good
luck.

You can’t write comments anymore! I tried to cheat by indicating a lower

where there doesn’t seem to be an edit box to write to and then switch the
rating like I did when a similar change happened in a much earlier update.
Also, it seems you have to check a box to confirm that you were wearing a mask,
but for voiceover users the checkbox doesn’t Red. It’s really disturbing how
these apps get updated and mess up something that worked perfectly well before.

Here is a link where you can email their support.

Perhaps you could give them your number and ask them to call you and explain

Otherwise you have to call a local store that might carry them like Office

OK, The Brother HL-2360 DW is a straight lazer-jet, black and white, and yes,
you will need sighted assistance to set it up, but after that it should just
work.
You select WiFi on the printer control panel, then there is something that
blinks on the and you have to press the WiFi button on the Router. Wait a few
minutes, and it prints a test page showing Connection OK.
Then, you press the OK button on the Printer control panel and you are good to
go.
When you select print from the share or more actions on your iPhone, you will
need to wait until it finds your printer, which usually takes very little time.
When you select the printer, you will then have some options.
It will default to double sided printing, but if you want single sided, double
tap where it says double sided and select single sided.
It will also show you how many pages in case you maybe only want to print 1,
you can deselect the other pages.
Then, back at the top left is the print button. Double tpa and you are
printing.

The all-in -one model is not necessary unless you have sighted help for doing
faxing, scanning, etc.
Since models change, and we bought the HL-2360 DW a few years ago, you may find
another model with a similar feature set.
We prefer lazer-jets because you do not have the issue of ink drying out from
non-use, and changing a toner cartridge is much easier than dealing with the
ink cartridges.
You will need help setting the printer up the first time, with the printer drum
and toner cartridge, but once that is done, you will be able to change
cartridges as needed on your own.
You also get many more pages per dollar with a laser-jet than with an ink jet.

If you want to know, the all-in-one model is MFC L2710DW. But, I don't
recommend it for someone without sighted assistance.

How to setup Apple Watch Schooltime to help improve focus

A welcome advancement for Apple Watch with watchOS 7 is Family Setup, a
feature that lets an adult configure the wearable for a child who doesn't
have an iPhone. Family Setup includes multiple features to help manage your
kid's device, follow along for how to setup Apple Watch Schooltime.

Family Setup for Apple Watch is a great way to stay connected to your kids
(or elderly parents) without them needing their own iPhone. And one of the
new features that are focused on kids is the Schooltime mode (also available
for anyone).

It allows parents to setup a school schedule for Apple Watch to remain on a
simple yellow watch face that's easy for teachers or adults to recognize and
can be used whether kids are learning at home or back in their classrooms.

In addition to the yellow watch face, Schooltime mode puts on Do Not Disturb
and restricts interactions to help kids (or anyone) stay focused.

What you'll need to use Schooltime

Jump to the bottom of this post if you want to use Schooltime on your own
Apple Watch.

To set it up on a child's watch, you'll need to be using Family Sharing and
have a child's Apple ID account setup that you'll connect with their Apple
Watch.

To use Schooltime, you need to setup your kid's Apple Watch with Family
Setup (more on Family Setup here). That requires a cellular Apple Watch
Series 4, 5, 6, or SE. For the parent setting it up, you'll need an iPhone
6s or later running at least iOS 14.

Note: You can also use Schooltime on your own Apple Watch if you are running
watchOS 7.

How to setup Apple Watch Schooltime
1.
You will get a prompt asking if you want to setup Schooltime while you're
going through the initial Family Setup, tap "Turn on Schooltime" if so (can
skip to step 5 below)
2.
If you are setting up Schooltime after Family Setup, head to the Apple Watch
app on your iPhone (adult's iPhone who did Family Setup) > Choose All
Watches > Tap your kid's watch
3.
Tap Done, then tap Schooltime.
4.
Tap "Turn on Schooltime"
5.
Choose "Edit Schedule"
6.
Pick the days and times you'd like to use Schooltime for you kid
7.
You can also choose "Add Time" to create multiple schedules like 8:00 am to
11 am - 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 pm

How to exit Schooltime
. Schooltime can be exited by your child by turning their Apple
Watch's Digital Crown > tapping Exit
. This is intentional by Apple so students can check Messages, Phone
calls, etc.
. As the parent, you can see how many times your kid has exited
Schooltime during the day
. Head to the Watch app on your iPhone > All Watches > Your kid's
watch > Schooltime

How to use Schooltime on any Apple Watch
. If you want to use Schooltime as an alternative to Do Not Disturb or
Theater Mode, you can add it to Control Center on Apple Watch
1.
Swipe up from the bottom of your Apple Watch screen to open Control Center
(can touch and hold the bottom as well)
2.
Scroll to the bottom > tap Edit.
3.
Tap the add button on the Schooltime button , choose Done
4.
Now in Control Center you can tap the Schooltime button to turn it on
5.
To exit Schooltime, turn the Digital Crown and tap Exit

Apple Watch is a runaway train, Mac Daily News

2020-10-17 Thread M. Taylor
MacDailyNews - Friday, October 16, 2020 at 1:11 PM

Apple Watch is a runaway train

Apple unveiled Apple Watch Series 6 in mid-September, the latest entry into
what it a runaway train of a product. Series 6 introduces a revolutionary
Blood Oxygen feature that offers users even more insight into their overall
wellness. Apple Watch Series 6 delivers many notable hardware improvements,
including a faster S6 System in Package (SiP) and next-generation always-on
altimeter, along with its most colorful lineup yet, featuring a beautiful
palette of new case finishes and bands. watchOS 7 brings Family Setup, sleep
tracking, automatic handwashing detection, new workout types, and the
ability to curate and share watch faces, encouraging customers to be more
active, stay connected, and better manage their health in new ways.

In a few months, the number of people wearing an Apple Watch will surpass
100 million. While the tech press spent years infatuated with stationary
smart speakers and the idea of voice-only interfaces, it was the Apple Watch
and utility on the wrist that ushered in a new paradigm shift in computing.
We are now seeing Apple leverage the growing number of Apple Watch wearers
to build a formidable health platform. The Apple Watch is a runaway train
with no company in a position to slow it down.
After years of deep skepticism and cynicism, consensus reaction towards
Apple Watch has changed and is now positive. Much of this is due to the fact
that it's impossible to miss Apple Watches appearing on wrists around the
world. According to my estimates, approximately 35% of iPhone users in the
U.S. now wear an Apple Watch. This is a shockingly high percentage for a
five-year-old product category, and it says a lot about how Apple's
intuition about the wrist was right.

The number of people wearing an Apple Watch continues to steadily increase.
According to my estimate, there were 81 million people wearing an Apple
Watch as of the end of June. According to Apple, 75% of Apple Watch sales
are going to first-time customers. This means that 23 million people will
have bought their first Apple Watch in 2020. To put that number in context,
there are about 25 million people wearing a Fitbit. The Apple Watch
installed base is increasing by the size of Fitbit's overall installed base
every 12 months.

MacDailyNews Take: The world has finally come around to Apple Watch, which
is now everywhere you look (even if it is only via Zoom meetings for now).

The Apple Watch is going to be a massive hit that sells millions upon
millions of units. - September 9, 2014

We do not foresee anyone wanting to take off their Apple Watch in order to
wear a "jewelry watch." Apple Watch is not just a watch to be replaced with
another regular watch. Maybe wearing two watches will come into vogue for
special occasions? - April 3, 2015

Here's what makers of Swiss or any other watches should do: Push the idea of
wearing of two watches, one on each wrist or two on one wrist, into vogue.
Because once people start using Apple Watch, they aren't going to want to
leave it at home. Ever. They won't want to go to dinner parties without
their Apple Watch. And that's bad, bad news for watchmakers not named Apple.
Watch and see. - April 16, 2015

The number you provided Richard is for HP products. They don’t sell the brother
laser jet printer. Anyway I’m sure they’re easy enough to find. I’ve seen them
listed I think it’s just brothers.com. I’ll find them. I’ll call them.

AppleInsider answers all your HomePod mini questions

2020-10-17 Thread M. Taylor
AppleInsider News - Friday, October 16, 2020 at 9:32 AM

AppleInsider answers all your HomePod mini questions

The HomePod mini is shaping up to be quite popular with its expansive
feature set and low price tag. We reached out to our audience for what you
all wanted to know about HomePod mini and we've already been inundated with
piles of questions.

The HomePod mini is Apple's new $99 smart speaker. It is much smaller than
the full-size HomePod, but lacks the larger unit's spatial awareness and
home theater mode.

Otherwise, the HomePod mini can do just the same as its big brother. In some
cases, it can do more thanks to the addition of the U1 chip for a better
Handoff experience.

HomePod mini can play music on its own from a variety of sources but also
can play any content using AirPlay 2. It acts as a Home Hub for your HomeKit
accessories, can be used as an intercom system, get personalized
recommendations, and much more.

Apple plans to release HomePod mini on November 16 with preorders starting
November 6. While we wait, here are our answers to your biggest questions.

Will the HomePod mini allow more than two simultaneous Bluetooth HomeKit
connections?
Yes. This isn't a current limitation and the HomePod mini should allow
constant connections of any Bluetooth HomeKit accessories nearby.

How does handoff work with non-U1 enabled iPhones?
Handoff will work with the HomePod mini in the same way that it works with
existing HomePods. When handing off it will detect the nearby Bluetooth
signal and transfer over AirPlay. HomePod mini just has an improved
experience.

What is the integration like for third-party music services such as Spotify,
Amazon Music, YouTube Music, etc?
Apple has promised support for streaming music from third-party services as
part of the HomePod's audioOS 14 update. We haven't been able to use this
feature yet as the update has not been released, but it seems HomePod will
be able to stream from many sources directly without using AirPlay.
Some sources - such as Spotify - appear to be absent and will have to be
implemented by the provider itself. For now, if you wish to stream Spotify
to your HomePod mini, you will need to use AirPlay 2.

Will it work for Apple TV home theater if paired to a full-size HomePod?
You cannot pair the HomePod mini with a full-size HomePod. If you have a
stereo pair of HomePod minis you can use them as speakers for your Apple TV
via AirPlay but only the full-size HomePod can be set as a Dolby Atmos
speaker for Apple TV 4K.

Where will the HomePod mini be available at launch?
At launch, HomePod mini will be available in Australia, Canada, France,
Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Spain, the UK, and theUS. China, Mexico,
and Taiwan will get HomePod mini by the end of 2020.

When is the HomePod OS 14 update going to be released?
We don't know for sure as Apple has not revealed a release date but we
expect it to be released by the time HomePod mini hits shelves on November
16.

How many watts does the HomePod mini output?
At this time we do not know how much power the HomePod mini can output.

Does the HomePod mini have a line-out to connect to other audio devices?
There are no wired inputs or outputs for audio on the HomePod mini. There is
no line-out to connect other speakers.

Will Siri's response time be the same for home automations with the S5 chip?
While it is hard to tell with certainty, it seems the S5 is most similar to
the A9 or A10 processor. The existing HomePod has an A8 processor inside
which means that there is the potential for HomePod mini to be slightly
faster in its responses than the full-size HomePod. We will need to have the
HomePod mini in our hands to know for sure.

Is it possible to use the HomePod mini as a rear or center speaker in a 5.1
surround setup?
No, it can only be set up as a solo unit or stereo pair. A pair of original
HomePods will support Dolby Atmos audio with Apple TV 4K though.

What does the power cord look like?
Apple hasn't shown the power cable clearly, so we will see for sure when it
arrives. We can assume it will look similar to the existing HomePod's cable
with a wall plug on one end rather than USB.

Is it true that home theater support with Dolby Atmos is coming?
Apple will allow the full-size HomePod paired with an Apple TV 4K for home
theater mode which includes Dolby Atmos support. It works with one, but is
recommended to use a stereo pair.
The update for Dolby Atmos is coming with the HomePod OS 14.2 update as well
as tvOS 14.2. Atmos Support will not be coming to the HomePod mini.

Is it possible to play Spotify music or just Apple Music on the HomePod
mini?
Apple has announced several music sources for HomePod mini including
Pandora, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, and Radio.com.
Others, including Spotify, will work over AirPlay.

Does the HomePod mini support Bluetooth connection?
The HomePod mini is not compatible with Bluetooth audio streaming. The

Under-display Touch ID on an iPhone is still coming, leaker claims, Apple Insider News

2020-10-17 Thread M. Taylor
AppleInsider News - Friday, October 16, 2020 at 8:37 AM

Under-display Touch ID on an iPhone is still coming, leaker claims

Apple is continuing to work on display-embedded fingerprint technology and
may release an iPhone with an under-the-screen Touch ID sensor in the
future, according to a prolific leaker.
Touch ID under the screen has been rumored for several years now, including
by TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. But despite signs that Apple is
continuing its development of display-embedded fingerprint sensor, those
rumors have yet to materialize.

In a tweet on Thursday, however, serial leaker @L0vetodream suggested that
Apple still plans on bringing Touch ID back to iPhones through an
under-display mechanism.

As fellow leaker Jon Prosser pointed out, "MESA" is an internal codename for
Touch ID. "UTS" stands for under-the-screen.
"MESA" is Touch ID.
"uts" is "under the screen"
- Jon Prosser (@jon_prosser) October 16, 2020
Rumors of a fingerprint sensor embedded in an iPhone display first surfaced
prior to the launch of the iPhone X. Although Apple opted for Face ID on its
flagship iPhones since then, there has been a steady stream of patents and
patent applications that indicate Apple is still working on display-embedded
Touch ID.

Two July patent applications, for example, detail various methods to
mitigate some issues involved in optical through-display fingerprint
reading. Some Apple patent applications also suggest that the company has
long wanted both Face ID and Touch ID on a single device.

There are also supply chain reports that suggest key Apple suppliers may be
preparing to ship under-the-screen fingerprint recognition technology.

Kuo in 2019 forecast that Apple would release at least one iPhone with an
under-display fingerprint reader in 2021. That could mean some type of Touch
ID implementation on the iPhone 13.

Having both Touch ID and Face ID on an iPhone could offer several benefits
for users, such as dual-biometric authentication for added security and the
convenience to use a fingerprint if a user's face is obscured by a mask or
another covering.

This one is a little tricky for some people at first.

For the home gesture, put your finger on the bottom edge of the phone, just off
the active screen and slide it up in a straight line until the first haptic
vibration which if sounds are on will be the second sound and lift your finger.

The first sound is I think an indicator you are doing it correctly for
VoiceOver users. It is a different sound than the clicks you hear when
voiceover is on but you are sliding on blank screen. Then the sound that goes
with the haptic to me sounds a little like a drop of water.

To get to the app switcher, you do the same gesture but continue farther up the
screen to the second haptic vibration.

I recommend having hints on when practicing these gestures because if you pause
at the haptic vibration, VoiceOver will tell you if you are on the home gesture
or app switcher.

The same approach is used for the notification cetner and control center only
starting from the top of the phone.

how do I activate the App Switcher? Thanks.

Check your settings under settings, messages and make sure everything is

If that doesn’t work, then call Apple Accessibility.

Re: [EXTERNAL] RE: Annoying punctuation reading problem

2020-10-17 Thread 'Kramlinger, Keith G., M.D.' via VIPhone
hi,
I have had this problem on my iPhone 10 S max for about six months. I am still
running iOS 13.7.
When this happens to me, intermittently, a triple click the side button to turn
off voiceover and then click the side button three times to turn voiceover back
on, and then it’s gone for a long time.
once, I found that my punctuation setting had changed from the some option to
all punctuation. I have not noticed this happen frequently though.

RE: Question on Using the iPhone Without the Home Button

2020-10-17 Thread Richard Turner

The same approach is used for the notification cetner and control center only
starting from the top of the phone.

himself,” and we forget that only grace can break the cycle of ancient hatreds

others, I’ve never once regretted extending it.)" - Edward Herbert

Subject: Question on Using the iPhone Without the Home Button

Hi All,
Okay, two questions that will assist immediately when I get my phone later
today. First, what gesture do I use to get back to the Home Screen? Secondly,
how do I activate the App Switcher? Thanks.

RE: need assistance

2020-10-17 Thread Debby

Debby

Re: MS Teams

2020-10-17 Thread Øyvind Lode
I user Teams daily at work.
I find teams to work very nicely.
I just swipe to the mute button and it's there on the lock screen and
also if the screen is unlocked and you are in Teams.
I am not aware of any accessibility issues at the moment with Teams on iOS.
