RE: accessible smart body tape measure?

2023-02-02 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
I just had a look at it and while It's not terribly expensive to me that is
just another gadget which in my case I might use a few times and then it would
end up in a drawer.
If you feel this would help you then by all means give it a try and if you find
it's not what it claims to be and you buy it from Amazon you can always send it
back.

Does anyone know of a n accessible smart tape measure? I saw several on amazon

Hi Karen,

Go to Settings, Accessibility, Touch and Call Audio Routing. You will be able

Re: Ot: a question about nls human ware e reader

2023-02-02 Thread Joshua Hendrickson
You use a number sign before numbers, and I hit dot 6 twice before I
capitolize letters as I have both numbers and letters in my passwords
that are upper case. Also, think a little outside the box, and if you
have multiple letters that are upper case, just put dot 6 before each
letter if putting dot 6 twice before your beginning letter that needs
to be upper case doesn't work. The brailiant displays work very well
with bard and bookshare. Also, contact humanware tech-support and
they could also help you.

Accessible flash card app

2023-02-02 Thread Andrew J. LaPointe
Hi, while readingthe Tid Bits Letter this morning, I came across an app
called accessible flashcard. Has anyone had any experience with this app? I
think I could use such an app but it is not free and if it would still work
although it is an older app I don't want to purchase it if it is older. I
trust your opinions and if you used it I would get it. Thanks so much. Andy

You don't have to use computer braille if you don't want to for
entering in user names and password for things like bard. However,
just remember that the @ sign is dots 4 followed by dot 1. I used
regular braille to sign into bard on my BI40X display which is similar
to the NLS E-reader and had no problems.
