I got ios8 installed, however, touch typing doesn't seem to work any

I updated my iPad mini to IOS 8. I can not get either Fleksy app to work.
I can type with Fleksy V O but I cab bot activate the menu.
With Fleksy, as I type, it just says Fleksy, for each letter.
