stop the recording. You'll still hear it, but you can do it softly enough that
it's barely noticeable. Or, do it as you speak, so yo take the focus off the
sound.

account on the Mac or phone, it should default to IMAP and you won't or
shouldn't have to worry about the IMAP and SMTP server names and port numbers:
those are set for you and it should just work. If not, the problem
