All thanks for this, I guess my thing is is I get IOS 10 and IOS nine kind of
confused. I always want to try to move it out that way, and it won't let me.
The drag-and-drop once you're in that editing mode still works though. So the
trick is, to grab the app that you want to move, and then put

Hello,
I have had an IPhone 5 for a while now, and one of the things that
continues to bug me is that I read that I should be able to drag and
drop apps from one screen onto a different one or to use folders to
group apps.
I have never been successful doing either task. Is there a "simple"

Thanks for the tip on this new setting invoice dream.

Hello Mary,
And voice dream reader, open audio settings, advanced audio settings while a
text book is loaded. You can make your changes there. It does not work with the
iOS voices, but it does work with the other voices you can purchase.

As a tax payer, I'm not too worried about people who aren't blind using
BARD. I do think it's important though that the NLS work with
publishers, especially audio book publishers, to keep BARD books from
being too widely distributed and impacting the sales of audio books.

Exactly it would still be the same. As after a tardy point now. Any apps that
you have downloaded, from the app store, and that your wanted to share with
your wife would essentially be the same app if she were to download it from
your Apple ID.

Hi,
I am not sure that would work in this case. I say this as as I understand these
kinds of Apps being time based I would think each app would be different.
This is why I want the same App on each phone. The bank said you can’t use
different Apps for the same account.

Hi Greg,
When you say voice dream reader can change the length of a pause at the end of
the line, do you mean a line or sentence? If it's a line, I'm not interested.
If it is a sentence, that's a whole different deal. Somehow I missed that
change. Where should I look for that? Thank you.
Mary
Max, as long as YouTube are either part of family sharing, or apart the same
Apple ID, this should not be a problem. You don't have to restore from backup
on her particular phone, all you need to do, is signed her into the app store
with your Apple ID details, and then she can go in to your
Hello,
I tried the easyreader app and found it a bit difficult to get a book reading.
In the latest version of the voicedream reader app on iOS it does have the
ability to change the length of a pause at the end of a line.

Hi all,
I have an App for two factor authentication on my phone. I would like to put it
on my wife’s iPhone as well so as she can log in to our bank accounts. I have
the App backed up with iTunes. I know I could put it on her phone by re-setting
her phone and setup it from my backup. This is
Hi Mary,
Keep in mind what was said a couple of days ago about the possibility of a
pause feature being introduced soon in Voice dream Reader.

Thanks, Anna. Well I really like voice dream now again, since they sorted out
the problem with the UI being so sluggish when cloud sync is enabled. But the
one thing I am noticing is that when reading nonfiction books, with my
preferred James voice, I would like to have a little bit more pause
Thanks Anna, that’s good to know. Don’t mind not having multiple playlists in a
free version, but bookmarks are something I use a fair bit, so that’s an issue
if I have to pay a subscription for that. Something to think about.

Hi,
The basic features are free. If you want to set bookmarks, have more than one
playlist, or some other features, though, you have to subscribe.

Hi Mary,
They have a lot of voices available for purchase, and you can use any iOS voice
that you've downloaded, so you have plenty of choice. I had no trouble playing
a Bookshare book. I think it's a great option for people who can't afford Voice
Dream Reader and want access to libraries.
In my opinion, nearby explorer is by far the best one, it provides the
most automatic feedback, much better than the seeing eye app, I would
go with nearby explorer for sure.

The same problem happens to me sometimes. I try to remember to wait until the
hint "Double-tap to start dictation" finishes speaking before I double-tap to
begin dictating.
You can probably solve the problem by turning off the hints in settings -
General - VoiceOver.

Hi Anna,
I admit I have not follow this thread with all that much care, so I could've

compared with Voice Dream. I recall someone sending a message that said the app

Hi Maria,
No, I don't think there's a way to import files. You need to download them from
the libraries you are a member of, such as Bookshare and NFB Newsline.

Likewise, after looking at the info on both capti voice and dolphin easy

it doesn’t look like, you can play Audio files, with capti voice, and it is a
subscription based app. where as voice dream, is just a one off payment.
