Hi Evan, The bar codes will give you what the item is. The nice thing about the Seeing AI app is that it helps you find the bar code. When you press the product button and then put the camera on the product and as soon as it sees the bar code it will start beeping then as you turn the product

Hello all, When you set the channel to person there is a menu button on the top part of the screen. You have to select facial recognition from this menu then it will ask you to take the three pictures. Once they are done it will then bring up an edit field where you can type in the name.
